He has produced many documentaries over the last twenty years as well as working on advertising and corporate projects. He runs his own production company, AALTA FILM and works with italian Opera companies.
Costume designer, she has won 2 prestigious Abbiati prizes: In 1990 for the Rossini Opera Festival with costumes for “Ricciardo and Zoraide”, directed by Luca Ronconi. In 2005 for the Theatre S. Carlo in Naples with costumes for “Walkure”, directed by Federico Tiezzi. She produced the costumes for the Closing Ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Torino in 2006.
She developed her expertise as the assistant to Pier Luigi Pizzi from 1985 to 2005, and has worked throughout her career with the world famous costume workshop, Sartoria Tirelli , for whom she took care of the costumes for many theatre productions.
She has been working as a costume designer for Theatre and Opera and as wardrobe supervisor in the cinema since 1992.
She began her career as the director’s assistant at Tirelli.
As the assistant to Hugo de Ana she as had a ten years working relationship with the major theatre in Italy and around the World italian and international theatres.
Recently she has collaborated in theatre and Opera productions with directors, such as Franco Ripa di Meana, Andrea Liberovici, Marco Gandini, Luca Ronconi, Damiano Michieletto.
He runs the prestigious family’s firm of Ditta Pieroni which specializes in the production of headdress and armours from ancient to modern times, working with international costume designers on Cinema and Theatre productions.
She is Massimo Pieroni’s wife and has been collaborating for 5 years at Ditta Pieroni and Lowcostume.
